Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi

it's almost

time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book! Incredibly enjoyable with never a dull moment. It has so much action, so much drama, so many twists that i dont even know what to talk about first!

The love triangle is a big part of this book, love it or hate it. At first, i was just weirded out when i found out that Warner was a love interest after all the despicable things he did in the first book, but after reading it, i see that it really does work. We get to see a sweeter side of Warner when he's around Juliette, get to see inside his head, learn about his past and why he turned out the way he is. I felt really sorry for him and really feel that he deserves a break. No one - not even Warner himself - believes that he can change except Juliette and i was so glad that someone was willing to give him a chance.

He says things that will make you swoon and made me melt. And chapter 62 was EFFIN HOT! I have officially changed to Team Warner. I really liked Adam before but he was just annoying in this. He spends the entire book sulking and brooding and i just found the whole Juliette and Adam thing to sappy.

Now for my favourite part in the book - KENJI!!! He is made of awesomeness. He is sexy and funny! And he is also the one who always knocks sense into Juliette. I love how he is totally honest with her, and gives her good advice without sugar coating anything. He is just too AMAZING for words and i live for his scenes.

Juliette goes through ups and downs in this. She is always feeling insecure because of her power and spends a lot of time sulking. In those moments, i wanted to tell her to get over it! Get over Adam! Get over your doubts! And finally she does. She is badass! She kicks some awesome butt and i was totally cheering for her.

You get to meet Warner's father who is a total bastard. I just wanted to shove something up his ass the whole time and i sympathize with Warner for having him as a father. We also get to find out why Adam and Warner can touch Juliette which was very interesting.

This book has made this one of my favourite series and i am dying for the sequel. Its full of twists and turns that you will definitely not see coming. The ending was good and is left on a cliffhanger and i am eager for the sequel. Once again - an AMAZING book!
