Frigid (Frigid, #1) by J. Lynn, Jennifer L. Armentrout

For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

I love most books by Jennifer so i was a little disappointed in this one. It revolves around sydney and Kyler who are childhood best friends and been in love with each other for ages but wont admit it. Usually i love reading stories like this but i just didnt enjoy this much.

Sydney was ok, i didnt particularly like her; she was a bit pathetic, constantly pining over kyler. I mean just tell him how u feel or get over it. Kyler was better but he didnt make me swoon. What really annoyed me about him was his "over protectiveness". He constantly slept around with other girls but when Sydney even talked to a guy, he would get in defensive mode and go interrupt them right away. What a hypocrite!

In general, the whole story was stupid. All that happens is they get stranded in a hotel together where they finally admit their feelings and the rest of the book was just porn. It was such a cliched book that i feel like i have read a billion versions of this same story before. It was like Jennifer ran out of ideas to write about so she thought i may as well write about this.

It was an alright book. If you're bored and have nothing better to read then u should probably give this a go or i wouldn't recommend it.
